Lame Duck is the time between now and 12/31/2020 where some of the most consequential bills get passed by the Ohio Legislature as they wind down the 2 year legislative session. In the meantime, They will be moving forward at warp speed to pass horrible laws and ignore good ones - possibly ending this week.
Lame Duck Lunch @12:00 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in December is a great opportunity to join like minded people to make calls to legislators during this fast moving session. Our calls have lots of power and really do make a difference in preventing bad laws from being passed. Sign up here to get more info about participation.
We do a short briefing starting at 12:05 and then make our calls! Take as much time or as little as you need to make calls - or hop on to ask questions. Come one day a week or come to all of the sessions.
We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until lame duck is over (12/31/20 @12:00am) Let's make it well known to Ohio Legislators that we are watching. Or come for accountability - sometimes we all need a push!
